Random Thoughts

Good Evening Friends! I hope you are all doing well, as it has been a while. We have been here and there, and everywhere. Hopefully, we can stick around for a while.

First of all, I have just have to say that (for those of you who may be interested,) the new Usher CD entitled Here I Stand is unbelievable! I highly recommend it. The entire collection is great weather for background music, for a party, or for cruising down the highway. Everybody needs a copy!

Several of you have asked what song is playing on my blog. Well, first of all, it is one of the prettiest songs ever written and sung. The name of the song is simply, Maria Elena. It is sung in English and Spanish, and is usually done on a guitar.

The lyrics to the song go something like this:

Maria Elena You're the answer to a prayer
Maria Elena Can't you see how much I care?
To me your voice is like the echo of a sigh
And when you're near my heart can't speak above a sigh
Maria Elena Say that we will never part
Maria Elena Take me to your heart
A love like mine is great enough for two
To share this love is really all I ask of you
Eres mi fé, eres mi Dios, eres mi amor
Back years ago, Jimmy Dorsey made this song famous. Since then, many others have attempted it. The prettiest version that I have ever heard is when it is sung by my uncle Chipper. He, along with his band, Chip Sneed and Friends, play this song and it makes my heart melt (it is also his mother in law's favorite song for him to play and sing.) I could listen to him play and sing this song ALL day long.....
Thought I'd send a few pictures of the Babies from the last week or so.

What, you are wondering, in the world is that!? We have okra! Not to much has come up in our garden, but the okra has made its debut! Hayden is so proud. He is such a good water boy. It is always so tempting for him to pick it early (me too!) I'm trying to teach him about the earth and planting, as well as patience.

Here is a sweet video that I would like to share with you.
To hear the video, please mute the music player above.) Enjoy.

Have a good night.
